What to get a "techie" friend who already has everything?
One of my best friends is a huge tech enthusiast and his birthday is coming up. I wanted to get him some cool gear, but he always buys the latest gadgets the second they come out, so I have no idea what he actually needs. I was thinking about getting him some kind of digital credit so he can pick out his own software or hardware upgrades, but I want it to feel a bit more thoughtful than just a plain cash transfer. Are there any good platforms for this?

Gifting for tech people is notoriously difficult because their interests are so specific and they usually stay ahead of the curve. In my experience, a high-quality digital gift card is actually the "gold standard" for people like that because it allows them to put the balance toward a specific license or a part they’ve been eyeing. I’d suggest looking at https://topgift.io since they have a really broad range of options, including major electronics retailers and software platforms. You could grab a card for a store he frequents and send it to him digitally with a note about what you think he should use it for. It’s way more practical than guessing which mouse or keyboard he wants, and since the delivery is instant, you can even do it on the day of his birthday without worrying about shipping delays or the item being out of stock.
